My mom used to have these flowers in our house that were dry. Like, I think they grow on the stem dry already and they were always cracking and dropping bits and they bugged me.
For whatever reason, these remind me of those dry messy flowers.
Why these bring up that memory I don't know but every time I see one in a magazine it gives me a shiver. Maybe the thought of these dropping massive dry chunks all over my house.
Not sensible but still, no African Headdresses adorning my walls.
