End of an Adventure

Our last week together went by quickly!

We checked out the St. Norbert Farmer's Market but it was really small.
I guess it's still too early for most crops.

When Michelle arrived she said she didn't like her coffee cold.  Somewhere along the way, she agreed to try a frappuccino.  Let's just say we've had a few since then.

Here's a little known fact about Shannon.
I love baseball!  We went to a Goldeyes game.
It was great.  Well, I thought so anyway.  Maybe everyone else found it a smidge slow.

I got to spend a day with Cate on a farm field trip so Michelle jumped on the Prairie Dog Express.
Also, apparently, a smidge slow.

We had lunch at Pineridge Hollow,

and then I introduced Michelle to a lovely police officer while he passed me this pink slip.
Friendly Manitoba.

Yes, 66 in the 50 zone but in my defence, I did not realize it was 50 and I was keeping up with traffic flow.

While the rest of us attended a wedding, Michelle tried a new frap flavour,

and bought me these gorgeous flowers.

WEDDING INTERLUDE
I interrupt my travel Manitoba post to show you some cuteness at this wedding.

Check out the guest book table.

Completely adorable yet easy enough to pull together and totally inexpensive.

Back to our adventures.
We were welcomed to supper at the Forbes',

where we had a swimming time!

We also celebrated summer at our church picnic.

On our last day together, we started with a big breakfast,

moved on to mini golf,

and car racing,

then took a stroll through Assiniboine Park.

We ended the day with "tea" at Montanna's.

And then it was time to say good-bye.  Already we are missing Michelle.  We had a wonderful time together and look forward to hanging out with her again in Paris next time.
Did you know she could actually DRIVE there???

The end of fantastic adventure!!
Thanks for coming to Winnipeg Michelle!

And now begins a new adventure...two months with these monkeys.

So I will say good-bye to you, my lovely readers and focus on these kiddos for the summer.
Meet ya back here in September for more pretty and more organized.
